A Matcha drinking glamazon and mother of four, Delfina Blaquier always seems to glide fashionably, albeit effortlessly, through life, whether at home in Argentina with her family and horses, holidaying in the Hamptons, or front row at New York Fashion Week.
Delfina has grown up around horses, spurred by her polo lineage, originating with her grandfather, father and now prevailing with her eldest son, all of who play polo. In her family, learning how to juggle a ball with a polo mallet while riding a horse comes with learning to walk.
Most recently, participating in the VCP Classic in LA, with her husband of 18 years, Nacho Figueras (she also looks fantastic in polo whites and shirt), Delfina took out the title of Most Valuable Player, helping her team to a 9-5 win.
An avid gardener and organic food aficionado, Delfina has a ‘paddock to plate’ mentality, where freshness and nutrition is paramount. Her favourite spot at home is the greenhouse, where she spends many hours planting seedlings and savouring tea, while her house is always adorned with fresh flowers from the garden. There is always a camera close at hand, just in case something worth documenting presents itself – which is often the case, as exemplified by her growing catalogue of artistic imagery.

Blessed with striking good looks, Delfina’s evolving style flows and reflects her mood, but is always flawless and on point. Delfina knows that simplicity and comfort is chic, and her sideline staples are floaty dresses with flats, or jeans with a blouse, perhaps a blue and white colour combo, with statement jewellery pieces. Her travel bag, on the other hand, is never lacking a bathing suite, hinting at her penchant for warm holiday destinations.
A self-confessed last minute ‘over packer’, which presents her with a multitude of options for every occasion, coupled with her natural grace, makes it a little easier for us mere mortals to understand why Delfina always looks amazing.
